Every marketing department or company has hired that individual who comes in fresh from college, starts out with good, but basic knowledge and skill sets, then grows into a dependable member of the team. When this same person continues to learn and grow in their job, taking on more and more responsibilities, it is a delight to watch them succeed.
But one natural side effect of hiring the brightest and most talented people is that they sometimes decide to move up and on. That’s when reality turns bittersweet. You love the fact that someone you hired is moving on to bigger and better things, but you will miss the energy and creativity they brought to the office.
iDiz is losing such an individual this week as Matt Rohland is taking his talents to a new employer, where he will have a hand in web sites that will be seen and used by millions of people. It’s a great opportunity for Matt to continue to develop his talents and we wish him the best. Fortunately, he’ll still be close enough to have lunch with us regularly.
Best of luck, Matt!
